The inspiration for this project I got from the painting of a well-known Vietnamese painter in the 20th century who always had women in their daily life as the muse to create the artworks - Mai Trung Thu. His paintings have recently got popular again among the youth which including myself. Therefore I decided to use his paintings as a main source of inspiration for this photoshoot concept. 

As a Vietnamese-American, I have always wanted to do something that is related to my origin and I love to have
"Ao Dai" the traditional dress to represent Vietnam in this photoshoot. I recreated the images of the noble woman
back in the day with elegant poses.
